LOL. Yeah, that seems to be common. Did you ever go to a coffee shop/restaurant that was across from a huaca located in Lima? I went there a couple of times but I can't think of what it's called.
Wasn't there a place called La Trattoria? Are you talking by the one near the Ovalo de Guiterrez? There's a bunch of 4D and laritza around there, but I assume you don't mean those.
Good call on La Trattoria. I just went on a deep search in google maps. The place I'm talking about is Gianfrancocaffe. It's right next to Huaca Pucllana. There's a restaurant Huaca Pucllana, but it's a bit more upscale.
I was on that same tour :)
Yeah, it's a good way to see the different parts of the city without dealing with the traffic insanity.
I meant I was on the tour where the mic stopped working :)

I think I know that place too!
There were so many good traffic-related lines at the start, but this one especially stuck out:
“The tour bus lumbers through lane changes like an elephant on four wheels, ready to punish any motorist foolish enough to hold its ground.”
Great piece.
Thanks again for reading the material. Lima's good for traffic, so describing it's important to get the feel for the city.
Cheers
